Inas Abusheikha is a mother, educator and multilingual storyteller. She specializes in Circle Time and conducts her work in English, French and Arabic online and at various public libraries and live events. She lives with her husband and their two children in Toronto, Canada.

Amira Abusheikha

Amira is a visual artist that works in the field of social work. When she isn’t serving her community she is creating beautiful acrylic paintings and studying various interpretations of it. She has lead many creative workshops and projects. Amira lives in Ottawa with her husband and young son. And yes, she is teacher Inas' sister!

  • What will the AWC video sessions include?

    We believe there is much to learn about Allah but examining His beautiful creation. In this class, we will be looking at seven animals that are mentioned in the Quran. We will look at their special qualities, learn about how they are connected to stories about the prophets, and help children learn their names in Arabic.

  • How long are the pre-recorded videos?

    The videos vary in length from 15-45 minutes, dependent upon the topic and the activities that are included to cover the topic.

  • How will the programming be engaging if it is pre-recorded?

    Our hosts are incredibly capable of engaging students even in the recorded sessions. Sr. Inas has an incredible energy that is contagious. She will use songs, a felt storyboard, movement activities, and more to keep students engaged.

  • Are there required assignments to complete?

    We will be providing supplemental worksheets to expand learning outside of the "class," but in this class, assignments are suggested but not required.
